The LOT Project is making a difference in our community 💕

Warm Hearts, Warm Hands ~ Anderson Unites for The LOT Project's Winter Clothing Drive

Anderson has always been a community with a big heart, and now is the perfect time to show it! The LOT Project, a local organization dedicated to supporting those in need, is asking for our help. They’re currently in need of men’s clothing to continue their mission of serving our neighbors in need.

The LOT Project, standing for "Least of These" as referenced in Matthew 25:40, was founded in 2009 by Matt Beasley and Jason Ashley. Their mission is to foster a community where our neighbors have access to basic needs, shelter, and the love of Jesus Christ. Over the years, they have developed various programs to serve the Anderson community, including Louie's, a dignified basic needs ministry, and Artisan Gardens, which nourishes and equips neighbors.

Currently, the organization is seeking donations of men's pants (sizes 28-38), long-sleeve shirts, sweaters, jackets, belts, and shoes. These items are essential, especially during the colder months, to ensure that individuals facing hardships can stay warm and comfortable. Donating these items not only provides immediate relief but also restores dignity and boosts confidence for those in need.

Donations can be dropped off at The LOT Project's facility at 302 West Market Street, Anderson, SC 29624, on Mondays from 4-6 PM or Wednesdays from 11 AM-1 PM. If these times are not convenient, you can contact them at 864.760.3710 or via email at info@thelotproject.com to arrange an alternative drop-off time.

The impact of your clothing donations extends beyond providing warmth. They play a crucial role in supporting community development by encouraging generosity and fostering connections among community members. Moreover, donating clothes promotes environmental stewardship by reducing textile waste and the carbon footprint associated with the production of new clothing.

By contributing to The LOT Project, you're not only helping individuals in need but also strengthening the fabric of our community. Every donation counts and will directly help someone in Anderson stay warm and feel supported. This is a great opportunity to clean out your closet and make a difference. Let’s come together as a community and help The LOT Project continue their amazing work. Anderson, let’s answer the call and show that compassion truly lives here.

Thank you, The LOT Project, for all you do to make our community a better place! ❤️
