The Anderson County Council gave final approval to the $331.8 million FY 2025–2026 budget — and the best part? No millage (property tax) increase for residents.

The budget includes funds for new detention center officers and expanded support for the solicitor’s office, boosting community safety. It also sets aside critical funding for county infrastructure, schools, and parks.

Anderson is gearing up for a major transformation with the arrival of Battery Park, a dynamic 30-acre mixed-use development strategically situated off Exit 19 of I-85, between Clemson Boulevard and the highway.
