4. Figs Cafe & Farmacy

Figs Cafe is one of those Anderson places that refuses to fit neatly into one box.

Located at 200 N. Main Street, Figs combines a cafe, coffee shop, ice cream stop and small market featuring local and regional goods.

The business began as Figs Beanery & Creamery in 2012 and expanded into Figs Cafe & Farmacy in 2018, including an expanded coffee shop.

Today it serves fresh-roasted coffee from Bridge City Coffee along with breakfast, lunch and pastries.

5. Sweet Morning Cafe

Sweet Morning Cafe is a newer, smaller cafe at 1475 Pearman Dairy Road that gives the list a different kind of stop.
