As autumn arrives, spending a day navigating corn mazes or selecting the perfect pumpkin becomes a cherished tradition for many families.

 

In Upstate South Carolina, several farms offer unique experiences to celebrate the season.

 

Here are seven notable corn mazes and pumpkin patches to visit:

 

1. Famoda Farm in Taylors

 

Located at 3 Camp Creek Road Ext, Famoda Farm provides a variety of activities for a fun-filled day.

 

The farm is open Thursday and Friday from 4 p.m. until dark, Saturday from noon until dark, and Sunday from 2 p.m. until dark.

 

Admission is $15 per person, with children aged 2 and under entering for free.

 

Visitors can enjoy a corn maze, baby animals, a jumping pillow, pedal cars, a pumpkin patch, food, and hayrides.

 

2. Stewart Farms in Enoree

 

Located at 6600 SC-92, Stewart Farms' fall season runs from September 27 to November 1, with activities available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

 

Hours are Fridays from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.

 

Activities include wagon rides, a farm store, farm animals, a honey bee observatory, and the SC MAiZE, a challenging corn maze.

 

Nighttime activities like the Big Boo Family-Friendly Haunted Maize and Nighttime Wagon Rides are available on select dates.

 

Activity prices range from $5 to $12, with children two and under entering for free.

 

3. Hunter Farms in Easley

 

Located at 2401 Jameson Road, Hunter Farms offers a fall experience at their Wolf Creek location.

 

The farm is open every weekend from mid-September to the last weekend of October, with hours on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

 

A $10 entry fee includes activities such as pumpkin picking, a corn maze, sunflower cutting, hayrides, a mini train, and games.

 

The pumpkin patch, wagon rides, and petting barn are available from Wednesday to Friday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., and from Saturday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

 

The Market Barn offers local artisanal gifts and unique finds.

 

4. Little Cane Creek Farm in West Union

 

Located at 2480 SC-11, Little Cane Creek Farm's fall season runs from September 27 through November 2.

 

The farm is open on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sundays from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

 

Admission is $12 for all ages, with children under 4 years old admitted for free.

 

Veterans and seniors aged 65 and over can enjoy discounted entry of $11 with a valid ID.

 

Activities include a four-acre corn maze with a new theme each year, hayrides, a children's play area, a pumpkin patch, a sunflower patch, a picnic area, and a concessions stand.

 

5. Greyrock Farms and Green Acres Produce in Woodruff

 

Located at 271 Switzer Green Pond Rd, Greyrock Farms and Green Acres Produce's Fall Farm Festival runs from September 25 to October 31.

 

The farm is open Sundays from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., Mondays through Fridays from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

 

Visitors can explore the corn maze for $8 or try the mini corn maze for $5.

 

Night mazes are available on Friday and Saturday nights, with the last ticket sold 30 minutes before closing.

 

The 2025 corn maze theme is "Who Wants to Be a Farmer," challenging guests to navigate the maze while completing the challenge to become the ultimate farmer.

 

Seasonal treats such as fried apple pies, apple cider doughnuts, and pumpkin donuts are available.

 

Pre-picked pumpkins and pumpkins in the field are also offered.

 

6. Strawberry Hill U.S.A. in Chesnee

 

Located at 3097 SC-11, Strawberry Hill U.S.A. offers fall activities every Saturday and Sunday from September 27 to November 2.

 

The farm is open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. throughout the fall season.

 

Visitors can enjoy treats at the on-site café, including ice cream, and explore the farm's 115 acres to pick their own pumpkins or choose from pre-picked options.

 

7. Denver Downs Farm in Anderson

 

Located at 1515 Denver Road, the 200-acre Denver Downs Farm offers a Fall Festival running from September 26 to November 9.

 

The farm is one of 36 farms featuring a corn maze honoring country star Lainey Wilson as part of the 2025 Country Music Corn Maze campaign.

 

Visitors can explore the maze, play an interactive game about Wilson, and enter a contest to see her perform in Las Vegas.

 

Admission is $20 per person, providing access to a pumpkin patch, various kids’ activities like the cow train, jumping pillow, and zip line, as well as farm animals and a corn maze.

 

The festival also features over 35 family activities and a variety of food options.

 

These farms offer a range of activities to celebrate the fall season, from intricate corn mazes to expansive pumpkin patches, ensuring a memorable experience for visitors of all ages.
