URGENT: Francis Needs a Home

She Survived Being Hit by a Car… Now She Needs U

Francis has fought hard to heal after being hit by a car. Her body is recovering but her heart is struggling in the shelter.

She’s 4 years old, 45 lbs, and needs a calm, patient home with:
β€’ No kids
β€’ No other pets
β€’ A quiet space to rest and decompress

Her deadline is February 20th.

What she doesn’t need is more time in a kennel. What she does need is someone willing to give her peace.

Please share. Foster. Adopt. Help us change Francis’ story before time runs out. 🐾🀍

Find of the Week ~  Look What We Found…

Okay… how cute is this?!

We stumbled across a Sourdough Pumpkin Shape Loaf right here in Anderson, and it might be the coziest little bread moment we’ve seen in a while.

It’s handmade, made to order (36-hour notice), and shaped like a pumpkin but it’s still that classic, crusty, artisan sourdough we all love. Perfect for a dinner table centerpiece, a gift for a friend, or just because you wanted something fun and different this week.

And yes… it’s only $10.

There’s something about locally made bread that just feels like home β€” warm, simple, thoughtful.

We’re not selling it… we just thought it was too adorable not to share.

Tip of The Day

If you’ve been meaning to β€œcheck in” on someone - today’s your day.
A quick text. A short call. A simple β€œthinking of you.”

Community isn’t built in big moments. It’s built in small, consistent ones.

Habitat for Humanity of Anderson County is calling on local businesses and community leaders to support affordable homeownership in Anderson.

This Friday, February 20th, residents are invited to a free β€œDiscover Habitat” breakfast at 227 Meadow Hills, Anderson, SC, starting at 8:00 AM.
