We’ve got boats hitting the water, golf for a cause, live theater, and one of the biggest concerts to hit Death Valley in years.

The Hartwell Lake Charity Run is set for June 11 through June 13 at Green Pond Landing, and organizers say registration is now open for boaters and attendees.

The Downtown Sounds Block Party returns to Carolina Wren Park on Thursday, May 7 at 6 p.m., bringing free live music back to Downtown Anderson.

Anderson — something new (and actually really useful) is about to open up.
