What year was the City of Anderson officially incorporated?

Tri-County Technical College broke ground on a major $31 million expansion of its Anderson Campus, a milestone backed by President Galen DeHay, county officials and local leaders.

Dave’s Hot Chicken is set to spice up Anderson, South Carolina, with a grand opening on Friday, January 30, 2026, at 100 Fritz Drive.

The celebration starts at 11:00 a.m. as the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce hosts a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Reminder to Anderson County residents - you have a vital chance to shape the community’s direction. A public hearing will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Anderson Civic Center to discuss Duke Energy’s proposed $3.2 billion gas plant near True Temper Road.

Let’s rally together, Anderson! A sweet, friendly dog was found near Richfield Drive on January 20, 2026, and is currently safe — but missing his family.

He’s a tall black dog with white speckles on his front feet and wearing a red collar. He’s well-behaved, sociable with other dogs, and possibly a Lab and Great Dane mix.
