Emergency Foster Needed for Rescued Mom & Puppies
Sometimes a simple phone call can change lives.
Recently, a concerned community member contacted Anderson County PAWS about a mother dog and her puppies living under a fallen tree in a muddy roadside hole. Thanks to the quick response from Anderson County PAWS and Animal Control, this sweet mom and her nine puppies are now safe, warm, and receiving the care they deserve.
Now comes the next important step — finding a loving foster home. PAWS is urgently seeking an emergency foster family willing to care for Mom and her puppies for approximately 6–7 weeks while the puppies continue to grow and thrive. All supplies will be provided by the shelter. A busy shelter environment is not the ideal place for a nursing mother and young puppies. A foster home would provide the quiet, safe space they need during these critical early weeks.
If you can help this deserving family, please email Kaleigh.pickron@andersoncountysc.gov or send a message through the Anderson County PAWS Facebook page.
Every share helps. Together, our community can give this mom and her puppies the loving start they deserve. |
