Community Gathers to Support Underprivileged Children in Anderson |
The 45th Annual Jack Hurley Anderson Toy Parade is set to bring joy and generosity to the streets of Anderson once again.
Scheduled for Sunday, November 30, 2025, at 2:00 PM, this cherished event invites the community to unite in support of underprivileged children across the region.
In memory of Charles and Diane Bolt, the parade will commence at White Jones Hardware & Sporting Goods on South Main Street.
The festive route will proceed through Main Street to Mall Road, concluding at the Anderson Civic Center parking lot.
All collected toys will be donated to Anderson Community Children, ensuring that every child has a special gift to unwrap on Christmas morning.
To participate, individuals are required to bring at least one toy suitable for a child aged 12 or under.
All vehicles must be licensed (drivers aged 16 and above), ride two abreast, and adhere to parade rules: no passing, no candy throwing, and no vendors.
This is a rain-or-shine event.
Raffle proceeds will benefit the Brighter Christmas Fund.
For more information or sponsorship opportunities, contact Johnny Cole at 865-8715.
Let's come together as a community to make this year's parade the most meaningful yet—because sometimes, a single toy can change a child's entire holiday. |
