4th Annual Cookie Crawl to Sweeten Downtown Anderson This December

Downtown Anderson is set to host its 4th Annual Cookie Crawl on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, offering families a delightful prelude to the evening's Christmas Tree Lighting.

 

Organized by the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce, this cherished event invites children aged 12 and under to visit participating downtown businesses, each offering a complimentary sweet treat. It's a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the season and support local merchants.

 

Participants should begin their journey at the Chamber's office located at 432 North Main Street, where they'll receive their first cookie and a map highlighting all the Cookie Crawl stops.

Following the Cookie Crawl, the community is encouraged to gather at the Anderson County Courthouse Plaza for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting at 6:00 PM. The festivities continue with a special ice-skating performance by professional figure skater Olivia Pellerin at Carolina Wren Park, adding a touch of magic to the evening.

 

For those eager to extend the holiday cheer, the City of Anderson Christmas Parade will take place on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at 3:00 PM along Main Street. This beloved tradition features over 100 groups, including festive floats, marching bands, and a special appearance by Santa Claus.
