Anderson Christmas Lights Unveils Bigger, Brighter Display Opening Thanksgiving Day

As families gather to celebrate Thanksgiving, the beloved Anderson Christmas Lights event is set to illuminate the season, transforming Rose Valley Boulevard into a winter wonderland reminiscent of a classic holiday film.

Spanning two-and-a-half miles, this cherished tradition has been enchanting visitors for over three decades, drawing thousands from across the region to experience its festive glow.

Central to the festivities is the expanded Christmas Village, which has evolved from a simple gazebo into a bustling hub of holiday cheer.

New additions include charming boutiques, a working bakery, and a general store stocked with handcrafted items from local artisans.

Visitors can also enjoy a "filling" station offering hot chocolate and marshmallows, perfect for warming up on chilly evenings.

Entertainment options abound, catering to all ages and tastes.

The village features a stage for princess performances, showcases by local artists, and special appearances by notable talents, including a participant from "America's Got Talent" and a Broadway singer.

Returning favorites such as Clemson's steel drum band, local choirs, and the ever-popular kettle corn stand ensure a blend of the familiar and the new.

According to recent reports, the event will be open nightly from Thanksgiving through December 25, weather permitting, with operating hours from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m located at Rose Valley Blvd. in Anderson SC.

Admission is $15 per car and $30 for buses carrying 15 or more passengers.
