Celebrate Anderson Concert Announces Kool & the Gang for Labor Day

Anderson County is set to host its 26th annual Celebrate Anderson festival, featuring the legendary R&B group Kool & the Gang as the headliner on Sunday, August 31, 2025.

 

The event will take place at the William A. Floyd Amphitheater, with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. and the concert commencing at 6:30 p.m.

 

Admission is free, but attendees must secure tickets in advance.

 

Organizers anticipate a full house and encourage early ticket reservations.

 

Two ticket options are available: Lawn Tickets for those bringing blankets and chairs, and Standing Room Only Tickets for fans who prefer to be closer to the stage without seating.

 

To expedite security screenings, attendees are advised to leave chair bags at home or in their vehicles.

 

The Anderson Sports & Entertainment Center is a cashless venue; guests should bring IDs and debit or credit cards for food and beverage purchases.
