Coldwell Banker Caine Opens New Office in Restored Anderson Post Office

Coldwell Banker Caine has unveiled its latest office in downtown Anderson, breathing new life into the historic 1912 U.S. Post Office at 401 N. Main St.

 

The grand opening event welcomed over 80 guests, including real estate professionals, civic leaders, and local business owners, all eager to witness the transformation of this iconic structure.

 

The meticulous restoration preserved key architectural elements, such as the original limestone columns, terrazzo floors, and walk-in safes, while reintroducing the building's rooftop flagpole.

 

Stephen Edgerton, President and CEO of Coldwell Banker Caine, expressed his enthusiasm: "This space is more than a real estate office—it's a symbol of what's possible when history and vision come together."

The project, a collaboration with SHLTR Architects and The Boardman Group, was honored with a 2025 South Carolina Historic Preservation Award, recognizing the successful integration of modern functionality with historical integrity.
