The Fiddle and Bow Music Hall hosts an evening of Americana, country, and folk talent from the Upstate SC foothills on Friday, June 26
Honea Path, SC — The Upstate's musical roots run deep and on Friday, June 26, The Fiddle and Bow Music Hall is celebrating that heritage with the Down Home Upstate music showcase. This special evening brings together four phenomenal local acts, each carrying the distinctive sound of the South Carolina foothills.
A Night of Local Talent
This isn't just another concert—it's a celebration of the rich musical tradition that has always made the Upstate a hotbed of talent. From Americana and folk to country and blues, the Down Home Upstate showcase promises an authentic taste of local artistry that you won't find anywhere else.
Meet the Performers
Angela Easterling Duo — Hailing from Greer, this acclaimed Americana duo featuring Angela Easterling and Brandon Turner performs on a farm that's been in her family since the 1700s. That's as South Carolina as it gets! Roger McGuinn of The Byrds praised Angela's work, comparing it to the legendary "Sweetheart of the Rodeo" era. And Brandon's guitar skills? Simply extraordinary.
Jamie Ellis — This Abbeville native started playing guitar at fifteen, inspired by Brad Paisley's masterful skills. He's built a reputation for his great voice and genuine country sound that resonates with audiences across the region.
Honky Tonk Songbirds — Bob and Christy bring the best in Honky Tonk, Blues, Country, and Old School Rock-N-Roll. Based in Williamston and Greenwood, this duo discovered The Fiddle and Bow by chance—and the rest is history.
Lauren Link — A Fountain Inn favorite, Lauren delivers an Upstate Americana/Country/Folk sound with phenomenal writing, skilled guitar work, and what fans describe as "the voice of an angel."
