Holiday Window Magic: Downtown Anderson Lights Up for the Season

The 2025 Holiday Window Display Competition in downtown Anderson has concluded, showcasing the remarkable creativity of local businesses.

In collaboration with the Anderson Arts Center, the contest highlighted festive storefronts that brought holiday cheer to Main Street.

City Seed at the Station clinched both First Place and the People's Choice Award.

Their display featured an impressive 8-foot wreath adorned with gold shovels, clay pots, potted bulbs, seed packets, birdseed bells, and a charming tribute to The Little Prince.

This imaginative setup became a focal point, blending whimsy and community spirit.

Runners-up included Shop Around the Corner, Indigo Custom Framing & Artisan Market, and Tracie Starr Home, each contributing their unique flair to the downtown holiday ambiance.

Congratulations to all participants for making downtown Anderson sparkle this season!

Beyond the window displays, downtown Anderson is aglow with over 100,000 Christmas lights stretching along Main Street to Linley Park.

Visitors can enjoy carolers every Thursday and Friday from 5–7 PM throughout December and capture festive photos at Carolina Wren Park.

Additionally, the Ice in the Park skating rink at Carolina Wren Park offers a delightful experience for families and friends.

These events and attractions contribute to the vibrant holiday atmosphere in downtown Anderson.
