Pendleton, SC — The historic town of Pendleton is gearing up for a star-spangled celebration as America's 250th birthday comes to the Village Green on Wednesday, June 24th, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM. This free community event combines live music, family activities, military honors, and a spirited downtown decoration competition.

Live Music by Eric Scott Band

The evening's entertainment features the Eric Scott Band, performing two sets during the celebration. Music lovers can enjoy a first set from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM and a second set from 7:30 PM – 8:00 PM. The Summer Music Series at Pendleton Square continues its tradition of bringing quality live entertainment to the heart of this historic Upstate community.

Family-Friendly Activities

Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy an evening of patriotic celebration. The Kids' Zone will be open from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, offering activities and giveaways designed to keep young patriots engaged throughout the event.

Honoring Military and Veterans

A special Presentation of Colors will take place during the celebration, honoring the brave men and women who have served in our nation's military. This tribute to veterans and active-duty service members reminds us of the sacrifices that have preserved American freedom for 250 years.

Patriotic Storefront Decoration Competition

Downtown Pendleton businesses are invited to participate in a patriotic storefront decoration competition, transforming their windows and entrances into red, white, and blue displays. Community members can visit participating businesses throughout downtown and vote for their favorite patriotic display.
