Community Collaboration Aims to Enhance Affordable Housing Options |
The LOT Project, a dedicated nonprofit in Anderson, is set to host a groundbreaking ceremony for its latest Village Home on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, from 9:00 to 9:30 AM at 320 H Street, Anderson, SC 29625.
This initiative is a collaborative effort between The LOT Project and the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Anderson program, uniting community leaders, volunteers, and partners to advance affordable housing and supportive services for local families.
Established in 2009, The LOT Project focuses on providing dignity, shelter, and a sense of home for neighbors in need. Their programs range from basic needs ministries to transitional housing and community gardens, all aimed at strengthening neighborhoods and empowering residents.
The Village Home initiative underscores the nonprofit’s commitment to transforming lives through stable, supportive housing. This groundbreaking signifies growth and hope for Anderson, reinforcing the city’s dedication to community care and collaborative impact.
