Techtronic Industries Co., Ltd. (TTI), a global leader in power tools and floorcare products, has announced plans to relocate its North American floorcare headquarters from Charlotte, North Carolina, to Anderson County, South Carolina.

This strategic move aims to consolidate operations and enhance innovation within the company's floorcare division, which includes well-known brands such as Hoover, Oreck, and Dirt Devil.

Since 2019, TTI has invested over $500 million in South Carolina, establishing a significant presence in Anderson County.

The company's global innovation center in Anderson SC encompasses more than 500,000 square feet of office, engineering, and testing space, along with 3 million square feet dedicated to distribution and warehouse operations.

Currently, TTI employs over 1,500 team members at this facility.

The relocation is expected to create up to 200 new jobs in Anderson County, further strengthening the local economy.

Anderson County Council has approved extending tax incentives to support this transition, reflecting the community's commitment to fostering business growth and employment opportunities.

Anderson County Administrator Rusty Burns highlighted the positive impact of this move, stating, "The county's investment and long-term partnership continues to bring new jobs and new opportunities to Anderson County."

TTI's CEO, Steven Richman, emphasized the significance of the relocation, noting, "By expanding our presence in Anderson, we're beginning a new journey to accelerate innovation, strengthen our synergies to drive profitability, and deliver new consumer solutions."

The transition is slated for completion by June 1, 2026, with TTI ensuring no disruption to services for existing customers or partners during this period.

This move underscores TTI's commitment to leveraging Anderson County's resources and talent pool to drive future growth and innovation in the floorcare industry.
