The league moves their event from June 13th to June 20th to avoid competing with other AAU programs raising funds for Nationals
Anderson, SC — In a show of community spirit, UPSTATE PRIME Basketball League has announced they are rescheduling their upcoming fundraiser to support fellow youth basketball programs in the area. The event, originally planned for June 13th, will now take place on June 20, 2026.
Putting Community First
The decision to move the date came after careful consideration of the local basketball landscape. Several AAU programs and youth basketball organizations are currently fundraising to help their athletes travel to Nationals in Florida. Rather than compete for the community's support, UPSTATE PRIME chose to step back and let those teams have their moment.
"We believe in supporting the entire basketball community," the league shared in their announcement. "We do not want to take away from or compete with other teams that are working hard to raise funds for their players."

The league expressed their gratitude to supporters for their understanding and continued support. Their goal remains clear: help their own athletes while also cheering on the success of other youth basketball programs in the area.
So on June 20th, come hungry, bring your friends and family, and show these young athletes that Anderson supports its basketball community. Every plate served and every donation given helps keep youth sports thriving in the Upstate.
