zMAX CARS Tour Returns to Anderson Speedway After Seven-Year Hiatus

The zMAX CARS Tour is set to make a much-anticipated return to Anderson Motor Speedway on Saturday, August 16, 2025, marking its first visit to the 0.375-mile oval since 2018.

 

This event, the 11th race of the 2025 season, is expected to draw a competitive field of drivers eager to tackle the unique challenges of the Anderson track.

 

Among the notable entrants is Dale Earnhardt Jr., who will be making his second start of the season in the series.

 

Earnhardt will pilot the iconic Budweiser Baseball car, a tribute to his memorable 2001 NASCAR Cup Series victory at Daytona International Speedway.

 

Local talent will also be well-represented.

 

Anderson native Gary Greenwood is set to compete in his own No. 88 car, bringing hometown pride to the event.

 

Additionally, William Meredith will drive the family-owned No. 36, adding to the roster of local drivers aiming for success on their home track.

The Late Model Stock car field boasts 27 entries, ensuring a full grid and intense competition.

 

Fans can look forward to seeing drivers like Riley Gentry, who aims to build on his top-10 finish at North Wilkesboro Speedway earlier this season, and Ryan Howard, making his first appearance of 2025 with the tour.
